Snack
We will have snack time in the afternoon. Please pack a small nutritious snack that your child can finish in five minutes. Juice boxes and plastic bottles are not allowed, due to spills and sticky messes. You may send a “thermos” style water bottle with your child that he or she can securely close independently (no plastic water bottles.) If you choose to send a thermos, only water is allowed. Also, we have a water fountain in the room that your child will have access to throughout the day. If you put your child’s snack in his or her lunchbox, please discuss with your child what is for lunch and what is for snack.
Birthday Celebrations
Due to limited time for instruction, we will not be able to have birthday parties for each child. I will recognize each child on his or her birthday and if you’d like to send in a special snack for the class on that day, please contact me at least one week prior. Please no cupcakes or cakes. I will pass out the special snack at our scheduled snack time.
