CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) SCHOOL CLOSURE
Bedford County Public Schools still remains closed to the public, but essential appointments can be made by calling your child's school.

The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) has developed a parent resource on how to talk about COVID-19 with your child. The CDC provides daily updates and health-related guidance in regards to COVID-19 if further information is needed for your family.

 FACE COVERING REQUIREMENT
The previous guidance included in the BCPS 2020-21 Health & Safety Plan on face coverings was updated to “require face coverings on the bus and indoors in public spaces when social distancing is not possible and at teacher discretion in classrooms.” Please note that this update does not override state guidance that states, “Staff and students should use cloth face coverings when physical distancing cannot be maintained, as is medically and developmentally appropriate”.
