About our staff
Otter River Elementary students are served by a highly trained full-time staff including a Principal, 10 Classroom Teachers in Grades Pre-K through 5th. Students also benefit from direct services from our Special Education teacher, a Gifted Teacher, Reading Specialist, an EL (English Language) Teacher, a School Counselor, and four Resource Teachers in the areas of Art, Library, Music, and PE.
Our students are also supported by a dedicated team of full-time support staff including a PowerSchool Secretary, a Bookkeeper, a School Nurse, 6 Paraprofessionals as well as great cafeteria and custodial teams. BNES students also receive support from itinerant staff including a School Psychologist, a Family and Youth Support Services Worker, an ITC (Instructional Technology Coach), an IT Technician, as well as Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Therapy, and Vision staff.
