Please DO NOT send food items to share at school. This is very important as we enter the Halloween and Christmas season. ALL items in classrooms must be cleaned by staff prior to student use. Any items sent to share at school must be cleaned prior to giving to students. The BCPS Student Wellness policy also restricts any, “Food items for class/school celebrations may be obtained from the division’s Healthy Snack List or through the school cafeteria staff.”

Our teachers are always eager to speak to you about any questions or concerns that you may have about your child. Please reach out directly to teachers any time that you have a question so they have the opportunity to assist you. Teacher email links are on the school’s webpage or you can call the school to speak to a teacher after children have been dismissed. Thank you!

Please do not send sick children to school. This puts other children and staff at risk of catching illnesses due to children being contagious.

Children must be without a fever (taken when not medicated) for 24 hours before returning to school. A fever is considered 99.6 degrees or higher, taken by mouth or ear.

Children must be free from diarrhea and/or vomiting for 24 hours before returning to school.

In an effort to support local families through the Bedford Community Christmas Station, we are partnering with them to collect their most needed items. If you are able, we are collecting toothpaste, tooth brushes, paper towels and toilet paper now until Nov. 20th. Thank you in advance!

ORES Strong!
